Anna was born in Detroit, and lived there for the 1st 16 years of her life. She then moved to British Columbia, Canada,
where she completed high school, and received the majority of her musical training. Reaching maturity in BC, Anna competed in music
festivals in voice taking away awards and appearing in Honours performances. The rest of her accomplishments can be found

Anna has been exposed to many influences from an early age, especially Brazilian bossa, which was played in her home when she was a child, also her Father's
Latinamerican Caribbean music, many long summer afternoons watching black and white Musicals from the 40s, Ramsay Lewis, Henry Mancini tunes, the Motown hits she grew up with, and everything else:
Classical, Mariachi music, Jimi Hendrix, Sergio Mendes' Brasil 66 and more....
Anna writes her songs on the ukulele nowadays, and loves to perform and teach on the instrument.
