These are top jazz musicians. For example, Loren Stillman received the DOWNBEAT "Outstanding Performance
award for jazz instrumental soloist, 1996 and 1998, was a semi-finalist in the
Thelonius Monk International Jazz Competition, Feb. 2002, and has received other awards.
Vocalist Kate McGarry has appeared with Clark Terry, Hank Jones, and One O'Clock Jump. Aaron Goldberg
Won the National Foundation for Advancement of the Arts Talent Search, 1993 and has performed with
Wynton Marsalis, Joshua Redman and many more. Ali Jackson Received the Clarence Eddins/Blue Bird Inn Scholarship,
and has performed and recorded with Wynton Marsalis, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Melissa Walker and Greg Osby.
The CD was recorded live to transmit immediacy and in
a small chapel for inspiration and atmosphere.
