ABBREVIATED BIO
On September 27 2003, Don Thompson returned to his home town of Powell River to perform a
concert with three of his favorite Vancouver Jazz musicians. The intent was to celebrate
and showcase Don as a world class musician, composer and educator, and to begin a new Don
Thompson Music Scholarship from the proceeds. What a night!
We recorded the concert in all its glory and it sizzles! This is the first time Don has
recorded a CD of his own compositions.
We are so proud of you Don!
